Our Alarm Repair Service is designed to resolve faults quickly and restore full functionality to your security system. Whether your system is showing a fault, not arming properly, or the keypad is unresponsive, we’re here to help.
We investigate the issue affecting your alarm system using on-site testing and diagnostic tools.
We check the control panel, keypads, sirens, sensors, and wiring to locate faults.
Where possible, we will repair minor issues or reset devices to restore system function.
If the issue is power-related, we will inspect the battery and mains supply.
We will test only the zones or detectors related to the reported issue — not the entire system.
If the alarm is stuck in a fault mode or keeps triggering, we will stop it and reset the system.
We’ll provide a summary of the work carried out and any recommendations for follow-up.
Replacement parts (e.g. batteries, sensors, control boards) are not included in the base price and will be charged separately.
ADE repair starts with the power supply, tamper loop, zone circuits and bell output because these older wired systems often show related symptoms.
We work with ADE Accenta, Optima, Logic Six and compatible wired alarm equipment. Typical call-outs include:
Standard batteries, contacts and wired detectors are usually replaceable. Dedicated Accenta, Optima and Logic Six boards or keypads are increasingly model-specific and may only be available as limited or refurbished stock.
Traditional ADE systems have no native cloud app. Remote control normally requires a compatible replacement panel or a carefully assessed third-party signalling solution.
A simple wiring, battery or detector fault can justify repair. A modern panel is usually the better option when the ADE control equipment itself has failed, several zones are unreliable or remote notifications are required.
We support ADE Accenta, Optima, Logic Six and compatible wired alarm equipment. Send a photo of the keypad or panel label if you are unsure which model is installed.
Messages can point to tamper, zone and bell-circuit faults, worn keypads and failing standby batteries, mains, charging and repeated false-alarm problems. The displayed warning is a starting point; the affected circuit, device and event history still need testing.

The booking payment covers the visit, diagnosis and time spent attempting the repair; it does not guarantee that the system can be repaired. If repair is not practical or economical, we will explain the findings and discuss replacement options.

The visit starts with fault diagnosis. We check the relevant panel, detectors, wiring or power supply to identify what is preventing normal operation.
We inspect the keypad, its connection and the related system components. The engineer will explain any parts or additional work needed.
An engineer code is needed for this repair. If you do not have it, select Engineer/User Code Reset in the booking options. The additional charge is shown beside that option.
